The traffic in Orchard is maddening! CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!! Holy crap! I have never seen the streets of Orchard packed to the brim as this. So Christmas really is coming! As a matter of fact, it's three days away! Don't you guys expect any card from me, much less a present. Being financially stretched, and all male-national-serviced-slaved, I don't do any card. All I can offer you guys is an exclusive time of Zach's (tm) love this season.
If there is any holiday that belongs to us, it has to be Christmas. Not so much on Easter though. I like the Christmas music, the light-up, the sale, the sadness, the happiness, the high suicide rates at this time of year, the gluttony, the booze, and the chance to put on more weight.
So when I think about it, the human traffic and shopping anguish is really worth it in a lot of ways. After all we have been doing it for years and years. Christmas is what you make of it I suppose. There are worse days on the calendar when I think about it.
I am so glad that Joseph will be opening up his aunt's place for the traditional steamboat feast. Whoo hoo! Can't wait to paint David's gf house red the countdown night! Yeeeh!
So get out there and enjoy the madness, sadness, and the pursuit of happiness in the day ............................... BLESSED CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL!!!
