But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:30-31
We have the mind of Christ. That does not suggest that we are Jesus Christ or that we lose our distinct individuals when we abide in Him. What it does mean is that Jesus will express His thoughts and actions through our individual personality, thus fulfilling the will of God in us.
A Christian abiding in Christ can trust his thoughts and act decisively in life. If there is no room for doubt in your decision, then there is no need for faith.
The starting point for understanding the will of God must be grace. The legalist ask, "What is the will of God for me?' Yet before we can correctly relate to the what of God's will, we must relate to the Who of His will. The will of God is not primarily a plan, but instead is a Person. Jesus Christ is the will of God. When one rightly relates to Him, doing the will of God becomes the natural result of our union within Him. It isn't the Christian's duty to find God's will, but rather God will reveal His will to the one who rests in Him.

Just an update on this kick ass book that I am reading. It's AWESOME! I have always wondered about God's will in my life. Also, when I have to make decisions, I want it to be His decision so that I wont have to pick up from my mistakes. Aiyah, everyone must read this book LAH. I always thought there is nothing else to learn about grace. How hard can it get? Just trust in the finish work right? (doh) Just because I attend a grace based church doesnt mean that I would naturaly become a grace-minded individual. Haha. I didnt realise that I am so much into performace oriented lifestyle even up till now. And I dont need no ten commandments to do so. Sometimes, I would do stuff hoping to earn my merit with God. Aiyah screw you guys if you deny it. Don't act so holy molly. Haha. I am so reading this book the 3rd time. It is the KEEENG book ever!
Oh by the way, I have forgotten to personaly wish Lawrence a belated 28th birthday! He is so unpretentious. One of the Godly friendship that I treasure very much. So cool! God has used him to intergrate myself into the children church ministry. I would not have grown very much in the ministry if not for the friendship forged. Having friends in the ministry really can spice up your serving man. And I am so happy that he is now engaged. A year ago, I thought something like this is not possible. I even swore that I will kill him if he gets married before I do. Haha. Hmm... Hey, thank you Lawrence. Never got to thank you enough, cause I am so aloof when I am around you. Haha. Also, sorry for putting you on a spot when I made you tell all of us how you propose to Elaine at the late night supper. Haha. SHY BOY! And I wonder why I will not be invited for the wedding... hm....
