Yesterday I attended Lasalle's open house. I had a feel of what my next four academic years will be like. And OMG, most of the curriculum will be Ballet clases. And I am VERY green to ballet. Unless of course watching Billy Elliot counts, I have yet to do much homework in it... I have been trained only in Jazz, Swing and Hip Hop and these three genres are by no means similar to the traditional Ballet clases. Almost all of their students had previous training in Ballet in their early childhood.
However, I am very grateful that I managed to speak to two of the lecturers yesterday and both advised me to pick up some clases to condition myself before the audition. And I know that Jesus will DEFINATELY make my legs more flexible and more fluid. Cause NOTHING is impossible through Him who believes..
I spoke to Jimmy on Thursday after bible study and told him how I will go to Lasalle (by faith) in July.. He said something like "that's what you always wanted".. which is very true.. and every little thing that matters to me, matters to Him...
I strongly believe that the medium of dance can be harness to worship and glorify Him who made everything beautiful...
